Anindya Chakravorty- Profile Anindya is a versatile professional voice-over artist with a repertoire of work spanning across genres: documentaries, corporate films, Voice of God Events VOs, audio books, ELearning, TVCs, Radio Spots and what have you! He has been the narrative voice on several documentaries for Discovery and National Geographic. He has also lent his voice to several books published on Audible, Storytel and for publishers like Penguin and Harper Collins. He can be grainy, gravelly, warm , emotive and suave when the script demands and so can he reach the higher notes and livelier pace to sound high on energy, young and vibrant for say announcer VO and promo kind of work. Anindya comes from a broadcasting background, as well as a writing background having read the national news for several years with India’s national broadcasters, All India Radio and Doordarshan and then been an advertising writer for several years. The former gives him a formal grounding in the spoken word while the latter gives him an intimate understanding of how words need to delivered to become a distinctive voice of a brand or convey the required emotion in a narrative. In terms of accent he is defined as more reflective of RP and Estuary accent but certainly can be defined more accurately as global neutral.
